Clearance Issues

"It appears to be a well made tool and I have already used it enough to burn up one 50 grit pad. However, it can't get close to a wall/backsplash. The body of the tool protrudes further than the outer edge of the pad. With a 4" pad, the body protrudes about 1.5" past the edge of the pad. The manual says you can use 5" pads (you'd have to purchase an additional 5" backing pad), but you will only gain an additional 1/2". I had to purchase another wet polisher because I have a bar top that sticks out past the backsplash and makes the clearance issue even worse."

Best Value Available

"After taking this for a test drive a few days ago, I have to say that I'm really impressed. It's a sturdy build and for the money, I haven't seen anything that compares. Especially with a GFCI built in. OK. For 5-stars something needs to be perfect. This unit is "almost perfect". brass water connection wasn't quite water tight, and leaked a bit. Something I need to solve to wet-polish indoors. Also, a 5-inch pad backer would have been nice...not to mention it would have been nice if they threw in a few pads.....But I am kind of cheap... Over all I think this is the best value out there....Believe me, I checked thoroughly."

Q&A

What kind of threads does the garden hose adapter have? I’ve lost the adapter and haven’t yet been successful finding a replacement in the hardware stores
We will check and see if we have any spares and reach out directly with more info.
What is the collar size on the grinder/polisher?
The arbor is 5/8" but the collar above that is about 2".
