Description

The Z Counterform Sink Form is used to create an opening for undermount sinks.

8 ft. long x 3-1/4" tall self-adhering flexible sink form. Will conform to most undermount sinks. For double bowl sinks, the sink form can be notched with a utility knife to bridge the divider. An example of this can be seen at the bottom of our Website Gallery.

**Sink must have vertical walls. For tight radius corners, sink form can be heated with a blow dryer or heat gun to soften the plastic so it bends easier. If using a zero radius sink, sink form will have to be cut into 4 pieces (one for each side of the sink). WILL NOT ADHERE TO COMPOSITE SINKS**

Broken on arrival

"The product worked very well. That is to say, it worked very well after I repaired five of the eight broken pieces. When I say broken, I mean that the edge that is supposed to be snapped off after pour. Several of the strips were broken upon delivery. I don’t know if this is a packaging issue or a product defect. I was able to resolve this with superglue and duct tape before installing the forms. There was more wobble in them than I’d like to see obviously because of this."

Q&A

Would I use these for a drop in sink as well? Or how would I go about preparing for a drop in sink?
For a drop in or top mount sink, you can just use the back wall form that is included in the form packages. You can find more info here - https://concretecountertopsolutions.com/blogs/articles/sink-installation-guide-for-concrete-countertops
Could this be used as a shut off at the end of a countertop next to a stove or fridge to maintain a flush edge?
I suppose it can but we usually just use a piece of 1x4 or plywood screwed into the side of the cabinets.
