Bad Experience
"This was my third time creating concrete countertops and my first time using this brand. It was a disaster. Nothing went well and now I’m left with gritty poorly formed counters."
This concrete hand float is made from Lexan polycarbonate. This reduces the weight and prevents the metallic surface from a traditional magnesium or aluminum float from transferring color to the concrete. For this reason, this is the only float that should be used if pouring our White Countertop Mix.
Once your top is flat from screeding, use the Lexan Float to flatten and smooth the top while opening the pores of the fresh concrete, allowing bleed water to evaporate and air to escape. Once the concrete is firm enough and all bleed water has evaporated, use our Chrome Finishing Trowel to prevent any burn or discoloration when using White Concrete.

"I bought it not knowing anything about white concrete. I have several steel trowels but feared it “burning” the white concrete like CCS said they would, so I ended up buying this trowel. After a few swipes with this trowel I ditched it and used my long finish trowel. Which worked way better and it did not “burn”. Don’t buy it. Use steel trowel My project was a 5x10 island top and this trowel was too tiny for the project also."
