Description

One reusable silicone faucet knockout that will create a 1-3/8" hole which will work with most standard faucets. It will also create a 2-1/2" pocket that is 1" beneath the surface to fasten hardware in. This will accept most faucets and spouts. Must be used with 1/2" substrate and our standard 2-1/4" forms. If using EuroForms, please use the EuroForm Knockout.

To install, use a 2-5/8" hole saw. Push the knockout up through the hole from the underside of the cement board until the 3rd ring hits the bottom of the cement board. Check to make sure the top of the knockout is flush with the top of the forms. For most applications, we normally like to split the difference between the sink opening and the backwall so that you have the most concrete possible around the faucet. If you have a deeper countertop or smaller sink, please check to make sure that the faucet is lined up properly over the sink.

WARNING: some of the newer faucets require larger than 1-3/8" hole. Please check your faucet. If you need a larger hole, you can wrap the top of the knockout in electrical tape to increase the diameter.

One was great, the other got stuck

"I used two. One came out cleanly. The other did not; this might've been due to being close to counter walls underneath preventing me from getting a good grip from all sides. Ended up having to cut it up. It did it's job though!"

Erich S. (4/5)

Knockout

"Not 100% sure how to actually use this. More videos about doing this process would help."

Brendon W. (5/5)

Failure Points.

"The only issues I had with my pour were due to these knockouts. I will never use them again as they made steel troweling the finish difficult but the bigger problem was that they cause cracks at all three of my openings. I wish I would have just poured the slab and drilled later. The it would have been much easier and I wouldn’t have cracks."

Paul (1/5)

Countertop square end form

"Nearly every piece of the square end counter top form was split and damaged."

"Product needs to come with directions"

I just installed the faucet

"I just installed the faucet knockout it went just so easy also put the sink form I just can wait to pour the concrete this stuff works so good"

Handy and Reusable!

"This little knock out works great! And it's reusable. The instructions/ videos were a little unclear for a concrete noob like me, but it's designed to be pushed up through the bottom of your surface before you pour the concrete. The top of the knockout should be level with your forms. Once you pour the concrete, just float around it. MUCH less mess than trying to drill a hole out after the pour."

Q&A

What knockout would you use for the commercial forms?
Unfortunately, we do not make one for these forms as of right now. The easiest thing to do is use some PVC pipe.
What do you use for soap dispenser
A soap dispenser typically uses the same 1-1/4 to 1-3/8 holes that a faucet would so this knockout will work for that as well.
